Brookwood Construction completed the adaptive reuse and interior buildout of The Boulder Garden, a boutique indoor bouldering gym located at 328 Roney Street in Durham, NC. The project transformed a former brazing and welding shop into a vibrant fitness space featuring custom bouldering walls, yoga studio, weight area, and modern restroom facilities, while preserving the character of the original building. The renovation included installation of all-new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, façade restoration, upgraded glazing on existing steel windows, and life safety enhancements. The space now offers an inviting, community-driven environment aligned with The Boulder Garden brand’s focus on movement, creativity, and connection with nature.
