Commercial Construction Estimator

Job Duties: Provide clients with preconstruction services across healthcare, life sciences, retail, and commercial sectors. Execute preconstruction services which include conceptual budgets, hard bids, value engineering, permitting, and managing both subcontractor & client relations. Responsible for RFIs, proposals, and turnover meetings to deliver cost-efficient, timely projects.
Requirements: Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field plus 1 year experience in commercial construction or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field plus 5 years’ experience in commercial construction. Must also include 1 year experience in each of the following: Cost estimating; Construction project management; Budgeting & Cost Management; AIA contracting; GMP & fixed-cost projects; Subcontractor Negotiation; RFIs; Tracking and managing submittals; Permitting; Design review and design team interaction; Change Order Management; Material procurement oversight; Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules; Client relations; Project handover; Procore; Bluebeam; Primavera P6; and Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
